So I’ve just had the most full on week in ages!! With The Outlook for Someday film challenge I’m working on’s deadline looming everythings a go waiting for entries to roll in and well under way in preparing for presentation events and eventually the doco.

Thursday night Gabi and I went and saw Pillowman at the Maidment theatre. Epic. First of all it clocks in at 3 hours including a 20 minute interval.. Craig Parker is on stage virtually the entire time! Massive performance him and the rest of the cast put on! Very dark first act.. In fact the entire show is pretty dark but with slight lashings of humour. The idea is based around a writer who was tormented by his parents as a child so he’d write dark stories. The stories that we get to hear as an audience are amazing as it is! Aside from the great story the play is itself!!

Saturday night Max, Fran, Eleanor, Georgia, Phil and I went to see Ella / Marc-andre / Mhairi-clare / Helen’s play was quite interesting – two very different acts that complimented each other well. Afterwards we joined the party that had developed at my house then had a few drinks at chicane (all in the name of Dan’s 20th btw).
