I just want to briefly write about the night away at Leigh I had with Dan for his birthday so I don’t forget!!
To celebrate Daniel’s birthday we went up to a group lodge called The Barn in Leigh to hang out and play games and music etc..
So Dan & Heidi picked me up on the saturday afternoon and we went along and picked up Ben from his house in Grey Lynn. The drive felt so quick probably because we were all deep in conversation – and we stopped briefly in Warkworth to get bread and some supplies.
Once we had got there we had a chance to just unwind a little and nibble on food and play some guitar and generally just hang out.
Mack arrived while I was sleeping – Brendon and Shonard were the next to arrive – followed by Jill and David. We were all together! We ate a big shared meal together and played games and role-plays and drunk wine and played music long into the night!! Anyone ever completed a labyrynth before? We were trying hard to! Daniel came close a few times.
After pancakes and songs in the morning I got a ride back to Auckland with Mack and then begun to pack for my trip away to the snow.
